Prosecutor: How did you knew where the files were?

Judy: His partner, Vodka, told me that

Prosecutor: Thanks

Bill: How did you knew that “Vodka” was his partner?

Judy: I being following Gin for years.

The trial continued....

Prosecutor: What do you think, jury? I see it very clear, his a criminal, a very bad one, and he must be sentence for his crimes.

Bill: Jury, this poor man was obligated by a very awful man, his family was in danger if he didn't did what they told him, his boss is dead now, so we can't have him like a witness.

The jury make his decision.

Jury: We find the accused, guilty.

Judge: I sentence you to capital punishment, you will be one month in jail, after that you'll receive the lethal injection....

If you are thinking about going to go to New York City, I can tell you the best, and more popular, attractions, places, in New York.

In the first place, if you want to go to New York City you have to go to, you can't no go, is the Statue of Liberty, is one of the attractions that is know all around the world, and extra fact is that the statue's steel framework was made by Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel tower creator. The next one is, my favorite place, Central Park, when it was created it was very far from the city, now days is in lower Manhattan, the park has several lakes, theaters, ice rinks, fountains, tennis courts, baseball fields, many playgrounds and other facilities. It is also home to the Central Park Zoo and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this museum is one of the most expansive and prolific art museums in the world and the Central Park Zoo, is in a small part of Central Park, it's the first official zoo to open in New York. The zoo was modified in 1934, with the addition of many new buildings ranged in a quadrangle around the sea lion pool. Finally, the zoo was renovated in the mid-1980s and reopened in 1988, replacing the old-fashioned cages with naturalistic environments. The next thing is Wall Street, this street is known all around the world because of his historical importance in the world economic crisis of 1929

Week Summary 1

I knew that modernism is an artistic movement that adventure in new aspects about different things, especially in music, where they have appeared new ways of making music. I learned, the pioneers of modernism in architecture, different words related to modernism in literature and I read two more chapters of The Catcher In The Rye, also I related some parts of The Catcher In The Rye with some key points with modernism. What I need to review is art in modernism

Writing Task - Letter to Jane Gallaghert

Dear Jane,

Well, I'm writing this because I want to tell you about my life and all.

The first thing is that I got kicked of gooddam Pency, anyway I never like that prep with all the goddam ads showing some hot-shot guy on a horse jumping over a fence and all, I never even once saw a horse anywhere near the place.

They kicked me out, because I was fluking four subjects and not applying myself and all, I took five subjects, also I went to talk to old Spencer, he asked me to do it, I was going to do it anyway, obviously when I was at the door of the room he yelled to tell me that I can enter, you know he always was yelling and all, It was a little annoying talk to him with his sermons and all. The most annoying part was when he starts to talk about my essay, boy, that was annoying. He read it and when he finish he was like disappointed about it and after that he says "do you blame me for flunking you, boy" and stuff like that, then he start to ask me if I had qualms and all about leaving Pency, also we talk about my other schools and all and that was my little talk with old Spencer.
And the last thing is that I have not seen you in a time, so I was thinking about it and we could meet somewhere, I will like to see you and all.

Chapter 1: How does the narrator feel?


He doesn’t feel conformed, because in this quote says:

"...You've probably seen the ads, anyway. They advertise in about a thousand magazines, always showing some hot-shot guy on a horse jumping over a fence. Like as if all you ever did at Pencey was play polo all the time. I never even once saw a horse anywhere near the place. And underneath the guy on the horse's picture, it always says: 'Since 188 we have been molding boys into splendid clear-thinking young men.' Strictly for the birds. They don't do any damn more molding at Pencey that they do at any other school. And I didn't know anybody there that was splendid and clear-thinking and all..." (Page 2)

In here he express his in conformation with the school, and the fake things that they say about this place, they say that’s a good place, for "clear-thinking young men", and he see that it’s false and he critique all the things that they said.

Chapter 2: What does the conversation between Holden and Mr Spencer symbolise?

The conversation between Holden and Mr Spencer symbolise a long life advice, and Mr Spencer acts like a father.

"... 'Life is a game, boy. Life is a game that one plays according to the rules'..."(Page 9) ".... 'What's the matter with you boy?'" (Page 11) "... 'How do you feel about all this, boy? I'd be very interested to know. Very interested'..." (Page 14) "... 'Do you feel concern for your future, boy?'.... 'You will' old Spencer said. 'You will, boy. You will when it's too late'... 'I'd like to put some sense in that head of yours, boy. I'm trying to help you, I'm trying to help you, if I can.'..." (Page 15)

All this words were said by Mr Spencer, it reflects that he want to help Holden, because Holden shows that he doesn’t care about his life, and Mr Spencer, acts like a sort of father with the tips that he gave to Holden, to tell him that he is in a wrong path.
