-BEST SOLO PERFORMANCE:

I  think that the best solo performance is for Recio, with five stars, because his performance was very natural and funny.

-BEST GROUP PERFORMANCE:

I think Recio's group had the best performance, with five stars, because the performance was fluid. 

-BEST CASE:

I think that Recio's group had the best case, with five stars, because they had a funny background story of how the crime happened.

-BEST SENTENCE:

I think Pablo Bozzolo's group has the best sentence, with five stars, because the sentence including no video games was funny.

-BEST EVIDENCE:

I think that the best evidence was from King's group, with five stars, because the video make a difference between the groups.

-BEST SCENERY:

I think that Recio's group had the best scenery, with five stars, because it was different from the others.

-BEST OUTFIT:

I think that Covarrubias has the best outfit, with five stars, because he looked like a real "bad boy".

-SELF-EVALUATION:

I think that I did it well because of two things, the first one, because I didn't get nervous on stage and, the second one, because the judge forgot to say something and I had to improvise and I think that part went well, I think the teamwork was pretty good, because almost all of us knew what we had to say, no like others groups that were reading.

Bill: Jury, this poor man was obligated by a very awful man, his family was in danger if he didn't did what they told him, his boss is dead now, so we can't have him like a witness.

The jury make his decision.

Jury: We find the accused, guilty.

Judge: I sentence you to capital punishment, you will be one month in jail, after that you'll receive the lethal injection....

If you are thinking about going to go to New York City, I can tell you the best, and more popular, attractions, places, in New York.

In the first place, if you want to go to New York City you have to go to, you can't no go, is the Statue of Liberty, is one of the attractions that is know all around the world, and extra fact is that the statue's steel framework was made by Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel tower creator. The next one is, my favorite place, Central Park, when it was created it was very far from the city, now days is in lower Manhattan, the park has several lakes, theaters, ice rinks, fountains, tennis courts, baseball fields, many playgrounds and other facilities. It is also home to the Central Park Zoo and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this museum is one of the most expansive and prolific art museums in the world and the Central Park Zoo, is in a small part of Central Park, it's the first official zoo to open in New York. The zoo was modified in 1934, with the addition of many new buildings ranged in a quadrangle around the sea lion pool. Finally, the zoo was renovated in the mid-1980s and reopened in 1988, replacing the old-fashioned cages with naturalistic environments. The next thing is Wall Street, this street is known all around the world because of his historical importance in the world economic crisis of 1929

Week Summary 1

I knew that modernism is an artistic movement that adventure in new aspects about different things, especially in music, where they have appeared new ways of making music. I learned, the pioneers of modernism in architecture, different words related to modernism in literature and I read two more chapters of The Catcher In The Rye, also I related some parts of The Catcher In The Rye with some key points with modernism. Writing Task - Letter to Jane Gallaghert

Dear Jane,

Well, I'm writing this because I want to tell you about my life and all.

The first thing is that I got kicked of gooddam Pency, anyway I never like that prep with all the goddam ads showing some hot-shot guy on a horse jumping over a fence and all, I never even once saw a horse anywhere near the place.

They kicked me out, because I was fluking four subjects and not applying myself and all, I took five subjects, also I went to talk to old Spencer, he asked me to do it, I was going to do it anyway, obviously when I was at the door of the room he yelled to tell me that I can enter, you know he always was yelling and all, It was a little annoying talk to him with his sermons and all. The most annoying part was when he starts to talk about my essay, boy, that was annoying. He read it and when he finish he was like disappointed about it and after that he says "do you blame me for flunking you, boy" and stuff like that, then he start to ask me if I had qualms and all about leaving Pency, also we talk about my other schools and all and that was my little talk with old Spencer.
And the last thing is that I have not seen you in a time, so I was thinking about it and we could meet somewhere, I will like to see you and all.

The catcher in the rye Chapter 1 & 2

Chapter 1: How does the narrator feel?


He doesn’t feel conformed, because in this quote says:

"...You've probably seen the ads, anyway. They advertise in about a thousand magazines, always showing some hot-shot guy on a horse jumping over a fence. Like as if all you ever did at Pencey was play polo all the time. I never even once saw a horse anywhere near the place. And underneath the guy on the horse's picture, it always says: 'Since 188 we have been molding boys into splendid clear-thinking young men.' Strictly for the birds. They don't do any damn more molding at Pencey that they do at any other school. And I didn't know anybody there that was splendid and clear-thinking and all..." (Page 2)

In here he express his in conformation with the school, and the fake things that they say about this place, they say that’s a good place, for "clear-thinking young men", and he see that it’s false and he critique all the things that they said.

Chapter 2: What does the conversation between Holden and Mr Spencer symbolise?

The conversation between Holden and Mr Spencer symbolise a long life advice, and Mr Spencer acts like a father.

"... 'Life is a game, boy. Life is a game that one plays according to the rules'..."(Page 9) ".... 'What's the matter with you boy?'" (Page 11) "... 'How do you feel about all this, boy? I'd be very interested to know. Very interested'..." (Page 14) "... 'Do you feel concern for your future, boy?'.... 'You will' old Spencer said. 'You will, boy. You will when it's too late'... 'I'd like to put some sense in that head of yours, boy. I'm trying to help you, I'm trying to help you, if I can.'..." (Page 15)

All this words were said by Mr Spencer, it reflects that he want to help Holden, because Holden shows that he doesn’t care about his life, and Mr Spencer, acts like a sort of father with the tips that he gave to Holden, to tell him that he is in a wrong path.

3. Description of Advertising Campaing

The relevance of the campaign for the community is that there is a knew academy on the school and we are promoting it. The audience is the school, our classmates. The objective that we have is that the classmates join our academy of weightlifting. On this camping we used three types of mass media, the pamphlet, the internet, glogster, the podcast, radio. The first thing that we do was the pamphlet, we decide to put information about was is weightlifting and what is our academy about, that was on March 28, after that we do the glogster, where we decide to put a routine of weightlifting, we finish it on April 11 and the radio commercial it has to be ready on April 18 in which we will put information about our academy.

4. Detail Explanation of the techniques used in the creation of the glogster.

In the glogster we used problem and benefit because we put good things that can give you if you do weightlifting "For your knowledge, weightlifting, help raise your metabolism, muscles burn a lot of calories, it strength your bones, helps you avoid injuries.  It also improves your immune systems, balance and coordination." and the pictures that we put on top of the first one says "He didn't went to the Academy" and there’s a guy with fake muscles and in the second side we put "He went to the Academy" and in the photo that we put is a guy with muscles and on top of that two things, in the middle, it says "IN THE PAST..." and with that we are trying to say if you don’t want to be a person without muscles enter to our academy we are the solution, we can make you be a very mussel guy.

How does the video portray the image of power?
 That many persons start to give money to the blind guy and before that all pass away of him

What are the main differences between the text in the first sign and in the second?
 The main differences are that in the first sign says "I'm blind help me" but with a grammatical mistake and in the second sing says something like today is a beautiful day but I can't see it, but for me It says the same.... I’m a blind person that doesn’t want to work, to do things because of that even though there are programs to help blind persons, to get them a job and things like that, and in china, I think, is a journalist, I think that is in that place, that is blind.

What was the people's reaction to the first sign like?
 The people's reaction was like get away you homeless, blind, weird, looking guy.

What was the people's reaction to the second sign?
 All the people start's to give money to that blind guy and he starts to be very happy

Does the video effectively reflect the power of power of words?
 Yes, it reflect the power of words, but for me don't because the thing that I put on the first question.

Something off topic is that that the blind guy now where the people is an where they are walking, he follow the person with the head and that is like weird a blind guy seeing exactly where are the persons is like nonsense

       1- The main idea is that to understant what is mass communication. For example mass communication take place between an agent in the center and a large group on the periphery.
      2.What is the function of the questions inclued at the end of paragraph 2?
        1-  The function is to make us think about the diferent ways to use language on the mass media and how the mass media influence us.

My favorite anime

My favourite anime is called Inazuma Eleven, and the sequels Inazuma Eleven GO and Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone.

The history starts when the main character, on Inazuma Eleven, Endou Mamoru went to the Raimon school where he creates the football club, then the headmaster said to Endou that they will have to play with the best team of the country, The Royal Academy, they were only 7 members, after that Endou recruit the 4 players that he needed to play the match. When they play the match they were losing 10 - 0 at the first time and when the second half was almost finishing the only player standing, except of Endou, run away and with that a new student called Goenji Shuja enter to play with Raimon ( in this world the football players can do techniques like the one that is on the photo) and when the Royal gets the ball Goenji run to the other goal and Endou knew that Goenji was hopping (and knew) that Endou would catch the ball and in there Endou uses the God Hand, the photo, and when Endou catch the ball he pass the ball to Goenji and he do the first goal of Raimon whit his technic, Fire Tornado, after that the Royal surrender and they go out of the school....
Then they start to play in the tournament of the country and then they continue playing football....
